About me
Emma Zangs is a Choreographer and Movement & Communication Coach. From public speaking training for presentations, pitches and talks, to movement direction and choreography for fashion shows, editorial and dance workshops, Emma inspires people to move and communicate with confidence.
Emma works with growing and established businesses, from GoCardless to Babylon Health, and coaches entrepreneurs on accelerators programmes such as Dream Assembly and D&AD Young Blood. She lectures at Cass Business School and on UCL’s Entrepreneurship MSc, and has successfully trained startups to pitch at Dragon’s Den and Pitch@Palace.
As a choreographer, Emma creates and directs powerful and evocative dance and movement sequences. She has been dancing since she can remember, starting with ballet at four years old and evolving over the years into contemporary and improvisation based techniques.
Since 2018, Emma has facilitated dance workshops with refugees living in the UK, to help overcome trauma, regain self-confidence and recreate a sense of belonging and community.
In 2019, Emma delivered her TEDx talk ‘We Are All Dancers’, as part of TEDxWomen. Through her work with business owners and refugees, she shared the message that dance unites us all and has a unique power to repair and reshape our lives beyond the physical.
Professional experience
Emma studied Art History and Film Studies at Panthéon-Sorbonne, Paris and has an MA in Choreography from Trinity Laban Conservatoire in London. She was also a Resident of Sadler’s Wells Artist Development Programme (2015-18).

Emma is incredibly talented and is an absolute pleasure to work with. She knows what makes an excellent pitch and works with you to build one. With Emma’s invaluable help we managed to win the prestigious Pitch@Palace competition run by HRH The Duke of York - a royal approval!

I gave a pitch at The House Of Lords and I was extremely nervous. I used the techniques we’ve done in the sessions and not only it helped me tremendously to overcome the fears but I won the competition. I am now building so much traction from the training I have done with Emma, I can not recommend her enough.

Emma provided some practical advice and skill-development across several distinct, but related, projects. Her advice was crisp, relevant and practical. It made a clear impact. I would welcome the opportunity to directly recommend if asked. Will most certainly be using her services again.
